Home Educated families, Join us for an incredible one-off event! A live screening of a film about the Bayeux tapestry will take place within the walls of this Norman cathedral. The British museum will be broadcasting the film from 10:30 am to 11:30 LIVE. Tickets for the Bayeux exhibition are hard to come by, so cease this opportunity to get involved from your doorstep and join us for a taster of what’s to come ahead of The Year of Normans in 2027, commemorating the 1,000th anniversary of William the Conqueror's birth, when we’ll have a whole host of workshops, activities and drops ins to celebrate. After the screening we’ll have a specialised normal trail – so you can see history reveal itself, as you explore the cathedral and then a specialised workshop for 3 age groups. We have spaces to see this special screening for up to 75 students with 1 adult accompanying them for free! 1 adult can accompany up to 3 children. We also have a drop-in session in the afternoon if you’d like to finish of your day making a Norman crown. This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity, book now to avoid disappointment.
